Dr. Stephen Torpy
Stephen D. Torpy MD FACS is an Omaha native. He received his medical degree
from University of Nebraska Medical College Magna Cum Laude in 1974. He
is a member of the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed
his surgical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin including training
at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, England. Upon completion of his residency,
he returned to Omaha in 1979 and has been in the practice of general and
vascular surgery since then. Over the past two years his practice has evolved
to an exclusive practice treating only vein problems.
He is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American College of Phlebology, an organization
dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of venous problems.
Jacqueline Torpy, RN BSN
Jackie is a registered nurse with advanced degree. She has 22 years of clinical
nursing experience. She shares her husband's interest and dedication to
the treatment of varicose vein problems. She is a member of the American
College of Phlebology and attends regular continuing education courses related
to all aspects of varicose vein diagnosis and treatment.
Jill Selzle, PA-C, MPAS
Jill has joined our practice recently and adds several dimensions. She comes from UNMC where she was on the cardiovascular team. She is trained in surgical techniques and ultrasound diagnostics. She will be performing diagnostic and treatment procedures that include Ultrasound evaluation, phlebectomies, and injection sclerotherapy. We welcome Jill as a key member of our practice.
